The Prologue

Integrated Technical Group

We, the students of Charotar Institute of Technology require polishing out our practical skills and we need to get exposed to the industrial requirements, ITG provides us with the platform required for the same. It encourages us to participate in various activities and also to inculcate leadership abilities that are most required to survive in today’s competitive world.

Our institute serves as a chapter to many technical organizations. In spite of having many such technical chapters in the institute, the proper and streamlined working of all these chapters with the primary motive of procuring technically sound engineers is required. This group aims exactly at this point. It provides a platform for the students to reach the apogee of success and become a leader for life. It helps in procuring outshining students that can stand a step ahead in this competitive world. It broadens the horizon of students and gives them an exposure to industrial requirements. ITG also creates internship opportunities and thus increase their overall technical knowledge. It shall introduce students to the latest in technology. ITG shall polish the students skills which shall be useful for job search and other competitive examinations and thus create world class engineers that will spearhead the technological world and increase the name and fame of our ‘Alma matter’.

Integrated Technical Group (ITG) was founded on 28th March,’08 with the aim of development of students. This group was initiated by:

  1. Kailash Ganapathi
  2. Aniruddha Shringarpure
  3. Rutvik Upadhyay

The primary motives of this group are:

  • To unite students with a common aim that is to attract and encourage students towards technical skills.
  • To create a platform where various technical events will be held in an organized manner.
  • To educate students about various technical happenings in the college and the latest trends in technology.
  • To pass on the knowledge and experience to junior students; identifying and nurturing future leaders to continue the activities.
  • To initiate an IEEE Chapter in our college and conduct fortnightly events under its aegis regularly.
  • To establish a Robotics Research and Experimental Laboratory with faculty support and develop a Club for such research activities.
